I visited the HOTA Art Gallery in the Gold Coast, to view the “Radiate” exhibition by artist
Donna Marcis. Her works heavily utilize ancient vessels and tools,predominantly made of
aluminum, historically a significant manufacturing material in Australia. She uses these
materials to explore compositional structuring and pattern combination designs. I admire Donna
Marcis’s creative ideas and the presentation of her works, which have inspired my project.
