Mandala In The Jokhang Temple

Artist: Tibetan
Year:1763

This Tibetan Buddhist Mandala is closely related to the religion and has profound religious significance. It is made of precious materials such as gold, turquoise, and coral, with a production cost of up to CNY 400 million.

The Mandala’s luxurious appearance and three-dimensional form left a deep impression on me.

Wow, what a perfect classical building, thank you so much for sharing. I am shocked by this building!

I’ve never seen anything like it in Europe and North America, and unlike the stone sculpture, this appears to be made of wood and gold. I couldn’t believe how spectacular it was when it was first made. Thank you for opening my eyes to the mysterious Tibetan culture!
